User Profile and Endorsement Service Agreement
On this page
1. Relationship to the Terms
This agreement applies when you affirmatively accept it to create or claim an individual profile, submit an endorsement, or use an authorized organizational administration role. It supplements the OG1 Terms of Service, which contain the general content, acceptable-use, intellectual property, dispute, and liability provisions. The Privacy Policy explains information handling; acknowledging it does not authorize unrelated processing or replace a separate consent required by law.
This agreement does not bind an individual solely because OG1 has assembled a record about them. It is not a paid organization subscription agreement, an employment agreement, or authorization for an institution to control its staff members' identities. A signed organization agreement governs any separately purchased institutional services.
2. What OG1 provides
OG1 provides access to the individual profile tools currently available to your account, including supported tools to organize your professional history, correct and complete your profile, add content and endorsements, and share a professional link. Features, supported formats, and availability are those described in the current interface, subject to the Terms.
The core individual profile service is currently free. This agreement does not authorize a charge, require a purchase, create an automatic renewal, or promise perpetual availability. We will obtain separate affirmative agreement before providing a paid feature that creates a payment obligation.
3. Your claim and representations
By requesting control of a profile, you represent that you are the person identified or that you have valid authority to act through a representative process OG1 permits. You will provide accurate information, review the existing record, and not knowingly preserve or introduce a material misrepresentation after becoming aware of it.
A claim is a request for profile-management access, not a statement that every pre-existing field is correct. You are not required to adopt inaccurate information simply to claim your record. OG1 may request proportionate evidence of your relationship to the profile and may pause or reverse a claim obtained through impersonation, error, or inadequate authority.
You understand that "claimed" means the profile has been taken under authorized management through OG1's process. It does not independently verify each credential, title, affiliation, employment date, achievement, or endorsement. You may not use the label to suggest broader verification.
4. Your profile, your employer, and your content
You retain the rights you hold in the content you submit and control the supported individual profile features, subject to other people's rights and platform integrity rules. You grant only the limited operational license in the Terms. OG1 does not receive ownership of your identity or an unrestricted right to use you as a marketing spokesperson.
Your current organization may administer its organization page and current roster. It does not obtain ownership of your individual account, private messages, endorsements you did not authorize it to manage, or portable professional history. Changing organizations does not, by itself, transfer or terminate your profile. You remain responsible for keeping your current affiliation accurate.
You must obtain the necessary permissions before uploading school or employer photography, copyrighted biographies, confidential materials, institutional marks, or another person's content. A statement that material is available online does not establish those permissions. Do not submit protected student, medical, or personnel records through ordinary profile features.
5. Publishing and visibility
You understand that information placed in public profile fields and other public content can be viewed without an OG1 account, indexed by search engines, linked, shared, and included in supported exports. You should review the audience and information shown before publishing. Private account information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
A public profile is not the same as consent to use your likeness in an advertisement. OG1 will use a separate permission for a standalone campaign featuring your identity where that permission is required. Your decision not to provide that permission will not prevent an ordinary profile claim, correction, or removal request.
6. Endorser agreement
When submitting an endorsement, you confirm that you are at least 18, the submission reflects your genuine experience and honestly held views, and you have authority to submit its text, image, voice, and other materials. You will not invent a professional relationship, act as a fictional speaker, or present fabricated experience as authentic. Disclose relevant compensation, gifts, family relationships, employment, or other material connections.
You authorize OG1 to deliver the endorsement to the intended profile owner for review and, if approved, to publish it with the speaker information disclosed in the submission interface. The operational license in the Terms applies to that use. This does not authorize the profile owner to change your meaning or authorize OG1 to repurpose the endorsement as a testimonial about OG1 without separate permission where required.
The profile owner may accept, decline, or stop displaying an endorsement. Approval is curation, not independent validation by OG1. You can ask to correct or remove your endorsement at support@og1coaches.com or the request form, even if you submitted it without a full account. Removal is handled consistently with applicable rights, legitimate retention needs, and the limitations on external copies explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Organization administrator undertakings
If OG1 grants you organization-administrator access, you will use it only within your actual authority. You may administer the supported organization page, current roster, invitations, and related features. You may not claim another person's profile without permission, use institutional access to impersonate staff, disclose private staff data without authority, or describe a pre-created page as institution-approved merely because it exists.
You will distinguish roster membership from verified employment and an authorized organization page from an OG1 commercial partnership. Access or content supplied for service operation does not automatically authorize a marketing announcement, partner logo placement, or broader trademark use. Promptly notify OG1 when your authority ends or administrator access should change.
8. Requests, ending use, and remaining rights
You may report a problem, request correction, withdraw a submitted endorsement, request record removal, or request account deletion using the request form or support@og1coaches.com. You do not have to make a purchase, claim a profile, or continue using OG1 to exercise applicable rights. OG1 may verify identity or authority proportionately before acting.
Account deletion removes your claimed profile from public display and triggers the deletion process described in the Privacy Policy. It does not erase information at independent original sources or automatically eliminate another person's lawful records. An organization ending its relationship with OG1 does not take away a staff member's individual profile merely for that reason.
The Terms govern suspension, termination, limited surviving obligations, and disputes. Nothing in this agreement waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Electronic acceptance
You accept this agreement through the affirmative agreement process presented for the relevant feature. You can retain an accessible copy of the agreement and the incorporated Terms. Separate choices about marketing, optional data processing, or other permissions remain separate from this acceptance.
