1. Independent platform and institutional relationships

OG1 is an independently operated professional identity platform for people who work in sports. Except where OG1 expressly identifies a specific authorized relationship, OG1 is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any school, university, athletic department, conference, league, team, association, governing body, or other organization referenced on this website or in the platform.

The inclusion of an institution, organization page, professional record, staff association, name, or logo is not, by itself, a representation of a partnership, institutional approval, or endorsement of OG1. An individual's use of OG1 does not establish participation by their employer. Actual partnerships and authorized organization relationships are identified separately and only within their authorized scope.

2. Names, logos, and other third-party materials

Third-party names, trademarks, service marks, logos, photographs, and other protected materials belong to their respective owners. Institutional names and marks may appear to identify an organization or provide context for a professional record. Their inclusion does not transfer ownership, grant visitors a license, or establish endorsement of OG1. Rights concerns may be submitted through the request form.

3. Public professional records and accuracy

OG1 may create professional records using publicly available professional information, user submissions, and organization-provided information. A record may exist before the person it represents has joined OG1, claimed it, reviewed it, or approved its contents. Records may be incomplete or outdated. A "public professional record" on OG1 is not an official government record or an institution-certified personnel file. Material information should be independently confirmed before it is relied upon for an important decision.

4. Claimed, verified, and organization status

"Claimed" indicates that profile-management access has been established through OG1's claiming process. It does not independently verify every identity attribute, credential, employment relationship, achievement, or endorsement. Any separate verification applies only to the matter and process specifically described. A pre-created organization page does not establish authorized administration or a commercial partnership.

5. Illustrative screens, personas, and endorsements

Screenshots, profile examples, videos, and other materials expressly labeled as demonstrations may include fictional personas, synthetic images, sample career information, scripted endorsement examples, and illustrative metrics. They show how OG1 can be used; they do not represent actual users, real employment relationships, authentic endorsements, institutional approval, or achieved outcomes. A real institutional name or mark appearing in a labeled demonstration does not make a fictional persona an employee or representative of that institution. Live professional records and genuine testimonials, where identified as such, are separate from these demonstrations.

6. Corrections, removal, and rights

Individuals, authorized representatives, organizations, and rights holders may report inaccuracies, impersonation, misleading affiliation, privacy concerns, or intellectual property issues and may request correction, restriction, or removal of specific material or an entire record. Requests can be made without creating an account, claiming a profile, or purchasing a service. OG1 reviews requests under applicable law and its published policies and may request proportionate evidence of identity or authority. Removal from OG1 does not necessarily remove independently published source material or copies outside OG1's control.
